Jacob Luria (also using the business name: Authentic Life Hypnosis) makes the following
disclosures:
Jacob Luria and Hypnotic Life Hypnosis provide services that are alternative and
complementary to healing arts services licensed by the state of Texas. I am not a
physician, nor licensed by the state as a healing arts practitioner. The services
provided are non-diagnostic and do not include the practice of medicine or
psychology or any other licensed healing art, nor recommend discontinuance of
medically prescribed treatments. If a client desires a diagnosis or any other type of
treatment from a different practitioner, the client may seek such services at any time.
The primary purpose of licensing laws for legally defined Healing Arts and Mental Health
professionals are to protect public health and safety. Hypnotists are not issued licenses by
the state to engage in their professional services.
Notice: The state of Texas has not adopted educational and training standards for
the practice of hypnotism.
Confidentiality: I will not release any information to anyone without a written authorization
from you, except as provided by law, or if involved in the resolution of a dispute, or
agreed in writing.
Insurance: I suggest you think of my services as something that you will pay for
personally. That will both protect your privacy and help you value the work you are doing
more. In general, insurance companies do not like to cover hypnotic services, and I caution
you not to expect them to do so.
